Sara Aziz is an award-winning children's Illustrator-Author who grew up in Lahore, Pakistan with paint-stained fingers under the shade of lush pink bougainvillea. She always loved drawing and painting, and so it was natural that she went on the study it further, completing a a Bachelors (Hons) and a Masters in Fine Art. With over a decade of experience in the creative field, Sara has illustrated over 35 books for renowned clients such as Scholastic and Paramount Books.
She is the recipient of the Ian Eadie Award, a gold medalist and was honoured with SCBWI's scholarship for author-illustrators in 2023. When she’s not painting or writing, she teaches it around her city. Sara now live in Ontario with her husband and two beautiful children who, to her delight, are also growing up with paint-stained fingers.
